Grant-making policy

Our grant-making is fair, transparent and in line with our charitable purposes.

Our trustees have approved a grant-making policy written in line with Charity Commission guidance. It sets out how we assess need, decide eligibility, and award and monitor grants to individuals and organisations.

The full policy will be published on this page shortly.

Hardship grants in brief

  • Grants are means-tested and awarded on the basis of need.
  • They can help with rent, food, transport, essential study materials or tuition, and emergencies such as illness, job loss or a family crisis.
  • They are for eligible international students at recognised UK colleges and universities.
